Blackcap / curruca capirotada
Maximum size: 15 cm
They live in scrublands, open-land spaces, clearings, and in dense
undergrowth spaces, in riverbank vegetation, in streams and brooks, and
even in parks and gardens, particularly the ones with irrigation canals.
They can also be found in croplands, or chards and vegetable gardens.
They feed on insects and fruit.
They are more numerous from the end of August until May. They breed
in the surroundings and the marshland.
