Western Marsh Harrier / Aguilucho lagunero occidental
Maximum size: up to 56 cm in length / up to 130 cm wingspan.
They fly over marshes, ponds, pools, lagoons, wetlands, deltas, dams,
rivers, mostly in areas with plenty of aquatic vegetation. They can be
seen near human settlements.
They are included in the National List of Endangered Species, and their
conservation status is ‘Special Interest’ as well as ‘Vulnerable of Extinction’.
