Habitat
They can be seen in clear spaces in the woods, the margins of forests,
scrubland, farmlands, as well as in the surroundings of marshlands.
They nest in woodlands.
They are resident year-round but they grow in numbers in winter as
new individuals arrive coming from colder areas in an effort to reach a
warmer climate.
They are included in the National List of Endangered Species, and their
conservation status is Special Interest.
