Habitat
They live in wetlands, reed beds, meadows, rivers in the thermo and
meso-Mediterranean areas without reaching 1,000 m altitude.
They can be seen in the high branches of reeds from where they cast
their constant, rough, noisy chirping.
They are included in the National List of Threatened Species.
