Habitat
They prefer the woods in wetlands and shady forests near water sources in wild environments or near human settlements.
They can also be seen in gardens, provided there are dense woods in the surroundings.
In forests they can be traced by their insistent chirping and singing while they perch on the highest branches, as well as by the alarm sound they make when they feel threatened or in the presence of danger.
They prefer to be near wetlands, such as pools, ponds, lagoons, and riverbanks with trees and croplands in the vicinity.
