Maximum size: 19 cm long – 26 cm wingspan.
Habitat
They prefer clearings and open land with little or no trees, such as
barren plains, meadows with bushes, dunes, and croplands.
They can be found from sea-level to 3,000 m altitude, such as in Sierra
Nevada.
They nest between April and July. They form flocks of up to 200 individuals.
They winter in the Iberian Peninsula. They can be found all through
the year but they are more numerous in winter.
